Fondue Dinner at Grapes Wine Bar
Feast on a rich assortment of authentic Swiss and German dishes in a quaint, cozy room originally established in 1926 as a writing room and a place for guests to come and gather their thoughts, share experiences and communicate with family and friends. After several transformations, the current ceiling was uncovered, exposing the gorgeous grapes in the borders. Grapes Wine Bar was born! Fondue is a fun and interactive dining experience where you’ll be dipping into something delicious with every bite! From the Rocky Mountains to the Alberta badlands, this diverse landscape is home to a number of both sustainable and organic farms. As part of Fairmont’s commitment to environmental stewardship, this dining experience contains locally sourced items from Fairwinds, Broxburn and Hotchkiss Farms.
Fairmont Signature Afternoon “Tea 101”
With breathtaking views, this is taking England’s ritual to new heights. Delectable pastries and finger sandwiches are served with 12 of the finest loose leaf teas. For the modern tea aficionado, the exclusive “Matcha Martini” is added, shaken not steeped, as it were. Only available to those select few enjoying our programs, you will be treated to a special exclusive presentation entitled “Tea 101”, designed to help you fully appreciate the finer aspects and history of taking afternoon tea.
