These views belong to an intimate luxurious boutique hotel that has been lovingly and skillfully renovated. The Oasi Olimpia found its beginnings as a colonial home erected in 1892.
Here you will find a treasure of hospitality, friendship, love and passion for all things cooking! The combination of cultural immersion while expanding your culinary repertoire is what makes Saint Agata the perfect destination for your next adventure. You will enjoy the experience of using seasonal ingredients picked from the on-property gardens delivered to your kitchen for the best of local freshness. Menus will delight your palate, using recipes that have been handed down for generations. You will revel in knowing that you created and prepared these memorable meals with your own hands.

Market-to-Table Cooking Class with Chef Carmen
Today is your day...design it as you wish! You will have a free day to swim, sun, tour or shop. Slow down and enjoy the people, the culture and the view. You have all day to yourself, and lunch is on your own...just be ready at 5PM in the school kitchen for your third class with Chef Carmen. Of course, you can share stories of “what you did today” as you enhance your skills in the Italian language while continuing to elevate your techniques in the kitchen. This will again be an all new menu of market-to-table ingredients. You will learn how to recreate these dishes at home to impress your friends and family. In Italy, wine is an essential accompaniment to any dinner, and this evening will be no exception. Your culinary family comes together to eat, share and just talk. You can enjoy your last glass of wine on your own private balcony upstairs if you wish.

A Visit to Pompeii and Pizza Making Class
Following your normal full breakfast, you will be off to Pompeii for a guided tour of this famous archaeological site. Pompeii is one of the most significant records of Roman civilization and provides outstanding information on the arts, customs, trades and everyday life. In 79 A.D. a torrent of ash and lava from Vesuvius buried and froze in time one of the most active and splendid Roman cities. A guided tour will recreate for you the history and the way of life in this fascinating experience. Back in Sorrento you will enjoy lunch in a lovely Tavernetta. The family welcomes you with great cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients featuring both meat and fish dishes inspired by regional and national recipes. Returning to the hotel late in the afternoon, you have an appointment in the kitchen to make your very own pizza dough. You’ll have time to relax until your pizza dinner is ready…(dough has to have time to rise). Oh, what a delight. Pizza the way you always knew it as supposed to be...and it’s your masterpiece!
