In the morning, after breakfast, join your bilingual guide as you wind your way through the cobble-stoned streets of Old Montreal, stopping in at small boutiques and shops to sample artisan cheeses, pates, and sweets. You’ll have an opportunity to talk to the shop keepers and purchase a few treats to take home with you too. You’ll learn how the food of Montreal was shaped by the various cultural groups who settled there and by the Amerindians, the original occupants. As our guests, you will have the very special opportunity to experience a century old tradition– afternoon tea. Hands-On Cooking Class with Professional Instructors
This is a fun interactive experience in a warm and welcoming environment. You begin the event by mingling with your fellow chefs over a welcome cocktail before breaking into small groups to begin your instruction. Your menu plan will consist of 4 courses which you prepare and then learn to artistically plate before taking your seat in the dining area. You then will transition from chef to diner, as a wait staff takes over for the rest of the evening, and serves the delicious repast that you have so expertly prepared for your own enjoyment. Accompanied by two wonderfully paired glasses of wine.
The Beaver Club – Dining Like Royalty
Delight in the world–renowned atmosphere of the Beaver Club as you experience five star culinary delights in the same room as princes and princesses, and heads of state have before you.
