Toronto is a food lovers paradise—a veritable smorgasbord of global cuisines served at exceptional establishments with flair. On your first day you can experience an optional afternoon tea and later, a romantic dinner at an outstanding French restaurant. Next day, you learn a bit of shared US-Canadian Prohibition history during your tour of the Historic Distillery District, before you head off for your hands-on Cooking Class. On your final full day, you travel to the Top of the World in the CN Tower to the Observation Level to see how many counties you are able to see before your ear-popping descent to the bottom. A Canadian Tradition for years, “taking tea” at the King Eddy is a truly extraordinary affair, and definitely, done with flair. The most important part is to have an excellent tea sommelier, and here, you will be served by the best. You will choose from a selection of 12 of the finest loose teas to accompany delicate finger sandwiches such as smoked salmon with horseradish and peppered mascarpone, curried chicken Waldorf, egg salad with Pommery mustard and watercress and of course, thinly sliced cucumber and radish with cream cheese and coriander cress. Then, best of all, the melt in your mouth Royal Scones with cranberries and orange, served with Devonshire Cream and Strawberry Preserves….sigh.

Walking Tour of Historic Distillery District
Dating back to 1832, this factory complex with its original cobblestone pathways has a fascinating history, including the years it was visited by 1920’s gangsters during the heyday of Prohibition. Bruce Bell, noted author, historian, actor and guide will take you on an incredible journey through time as he shares his wealth of knowledge about his now, ultra chic area, with you. He’ll give you the backstage pass to eateries, hotels and all kinds of haunts that you’d never have access to without his magic.
Experience Food Without Boundaries
Each Hands-On Cooking Class at the cooking center is taught by master chefs and their sous chefs providing you with open interactive experiences in a comfortable, social atmosphere, geared toward any skill level from novice to the gourmand. Travel to the Top of the World
In 58 ear-popping seconds you’ll travel the 1122 ft. straight up until the doors open letting you out onto the Observation Level of Canada’s Most Celebrated Icon: The CN Tower. You are now standing in one of the wonder’s of the modern world: at 1,815 feet 5 inches, this is the tallest freestanding structure in the Western hemisphere. If you dare, walk onto the glass floor and gaze down on the landscape below, or see how far you can see from the windows. On a clear day, 100 miles is not unheard of.
